Microsoft Word Resampling

Microsoft Word displays embedded images by resampling them to 96 dots per inch (DPI). If your original image has a lower resolution, such as 72 DPI, the image in Word will look larger than the original. It might also appear blurry and pixelated. If your original image has a higher resolution, such as 150 DPI, the image in Word will look smaller than the original.

To make sure your image appears in Word exactly the same way it appears to you in FotoFinish, change the resolution of the image in FotoFinish to 96 DPI using the Scale command under the Image menu.
